As the boat neared the shore, you swiftly got off as the other men readied all their weapons. You sat there at the upper deck, eyeing the land which you guys approached swiftly. Even though, it had been more than 6 months, you hoped that you would find them and hoped desperately that they were alive somehow. With this trip, you also intended to save that poor woman and her father who had been taken away by the gorillas according to those men. That convinced them pretty much and before you knew it, you had gathered good number of faithful men, which also included Clayton's comrades who had returned from there after the tragedy who were also thirsty for revenge. You informed them that you were bored of staying at your hometown and you longed for adventure. So the only way you could convince them of your leaving was to tell them that you intended to visit a few islands to clear off your mind. Lying to your parents was the last thing you wanted to do but they would never appreciate a drastic step like this from you. So this voyage was dedicated for him too. They mourned his heroic death for a long time but what they didn't know was how your brain had started to plot for revenge. Clayton had been trying to save a young woman named Jane Porter along with her father from some gorillas when he intervened and finished him off at once with the help of his gorilla brethren. He had told you about his various quests and how he had saved people from vicious attacks from animals and he was nothing but a hero in your eyes which is why you were too incredibly saddened by his untimely death and the people who came back, the people who lived to tell the tale informed your lot that a savage man named Tarzan was the reason for his death. You had actually met Clayton and you had come to instantly like him.
The only way that could suffice your anger was to bring back Tarzan's head as you held him completely responsible. You couldn't bear to see what state he had come to and knew that the only reason for your father's state was that savage running about in the uncharted rainforest off the Congolese coast of Africa. Listening to the news about the death of his dear friend, your father had fallen very ill. Clayton had been very kind to your father and had helped him out of his darkest times, promising to always be there for him. Being the daughter of a very close friend of famed hunter Clayton whose very life had been extinguished by Tarzan, you couldn't help but bear a vicious grudge against him.
